Hi I’m Maddie I produce and write all my music alone and then sometimes with friends. I do it to keep the horrors at bay. All of the words are true but I tend to write when I am sad and existential and not when I am happy so it’s a lopsided view of me. My studio is in my bedroom and I keep saying I’m gonna move it out but I really like being able to work until I can’t keep my eyes open and jumping into my bed. I really love when my cat crawls onto my lap while I’m trying to figure out a sound or lyric. I’ve been single for 6 months - almost the longest I’ve ever gone- and it’s low key amazing I can do whatever I want. I’m putting out my first full length album soon, and I really love it with my whole heart

a long time ago i also had the casio SK-1, i bought it when it came out,i loved the simple sampling capability at the time it broke, the only things i still have from that time, the original roland juno 60 (no midi) the roland TB-303 and the roland TR-808 i also have an old yamaha PSR minikeys keyboard, and a yamaha QY-20 with a broken screen, so i cand do anything with it anymore

I'm 70+ and still doin' most of the things I did when I was 28, like being on stage with my bass. And I'm not half as gifted as you are. You've made some incredible beautiful songs, be proud.
I'm 34, and so far my 30s are much better than my 20s. I highly recommend getting older
